Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Creative 3D Prints ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website and services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of personal information:

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and postal address.
  • Order Details: Information related to the products or services you have ordered.
  • Payment Information: Billing details necessary to process payments.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and information about your visit to our website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • Order Processing: To process and fulfill your orders.
  • Customer Support: To assist and respond to inquiries.
  • Marketing Communications: To send you updates and promotional materials, if you have opted in.
  • Improvement of Services: To enhance our website and services based on user feedback.
  • Legal Obligations: To comply with legal requirements and prevent fraudulent activities.

4. Data Sharing and Security

  • Third-Party Service Providers: We share limited data with trusted third parties who help us operate this website, fulfil orders, and measure our marketing. Each provider is contractually required to handle your data securely and use it only for the purposes we instruct.
  • Advertising, Analytics, and Customer Support Partners: Subject to your cookie consent, we share data with the following providers:
    • Google Analytics (GA4) — anonymised website usage statistics via first-party cookies.
    • Microsoft Advertising (Bing UET) — page-view and conversion data via cookies, used to measure the performance of our Microsoft Ads campaigns.
    • Google Ads (Enhanced Conversions) — completed-purchase events, used to measure the performance of our Google Ads campaigns. On purchase events only, this includes one-way hashed (SHA-256) versions of your email address, phone number, name, and billing address (street, city, region, postcode, country). Google uses this data solely to match conversions to ad impressions and improve advertising relevance. The hashing is irreversible — Google cannot recover the original values from the hash. Hashing is performed in your browser before any data is transmitted.
    • Meta Platforms Inc. (Facebook, Instagram) — page views, product views, add-to-cart events, checkout starts, and completed purchases. Sharing happens via two routes:
      • The Meta Pixel — runs in your browser and sends event data via cookies (_fbp, _fbc).
      • The Meta Conversions API — runs on our server and sends an additional copy of completed-purchase events directly to Meta. On purchase events only, this includes one-way hashed (SHA-256) versions of your email address, phone number, name, postcode, and country, alongside your IP address and browser user-agent. Meta uses this data solely to match conversions to ad impressions and improve advertising relevance. The hashing is irreversible — Meta cannot recover the original values from the hash.
    • Tawk.to Inc. — live chat conversation content and visitor identification, when you use our chat widget.
  • Legal Basis: Where data is shared with the providers above, the legal basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie banner, or by clearing the c3dp_cookie_consent cookie in your browser. Withdrawing consent stops future tracking; it does not retroactively delete data already shared.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
  • Payment Processing: Card payments are processed by Stripe Inc.; we do not store full card numbers ourselves. Bank transfer details are handled directly between you and your bank.
  • Data Security: We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, run essential site functions, measure traffic, and (with your consent) deliver and measure advertising.

  • Essential cookies — set automatically and cannot be turned off. These include your session cookie, your cart contents, and the c3dp_cookie_consent cookie that records your consent choice.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies — set only after you click Accept All on the cookie banner. These include:
    • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — usage measurement.
    • Google Ads conversion linker cookies (_gcl_au, _gcl_aw if you arrived via a Google ad, _gac_* for campaign measurement) — ad-conversion measurement and attribution.
    • Microsoft Advertising cookies (_uetsid, _uetvid) — ad-conversion measurement.
    • Meta Pixel cookies (_fbp, and _fbc if you arrived via a Meta ad) — ad-conversion measurement and audience building.
    • Tawk.to cookies — live chat session and visitor recognition.
  • Conversion measurement with hashed personal data — When you complete a purchase, we send a copy of that conversion to two advertising partners: Meta — via their Conversions API, server-side (hashing happens on our server), and Google Ads — via Enhanced Conversions, in your browser before transmission (hashing happens in your browser using Google's gtag.js library).
  • Managing your choices — you can change your cookie choice at any time by clearing the c3dp_cookie_consent cookie in your browser, which will cause the banner to reappear on your next visit. Disabling analytics and advertising cookies does not affect your ability to browse the site, add items to your cart, or complete an order.
  • You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling all cookies may affect site functionality, including your cart.

6. Your Rights

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

  • Access: To request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: To request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: To request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain conditions.
  • Restriction: To request restriction of processing your personal data.
  • Data Portability: To request transfer of your data to another service provider.
  • Objection: To object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party websites.
