Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Creative 3D Prints ("we", "our", "us"). Creative 3D Prints is a trading name of Creative M LTD, company number 13124451, registered in England & Wales. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the purchase of products and services from us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. What we sell

We offer three types of products and services:

  • Physical 3D printed products — items from our shop, printed to order in our UK workshop and dispatched to you.
  • Digital files — STL and 3MF files for 3D printing, delivered as instant downloads after payment.
  • Custom design and print services — bespoke work quoted individually through our quote form, including prototyping, replacement parts, and personalised items.

3. Ordering and payment

  • Shop orders: place your order through the website checkout. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we also accept bank transfer where offered at checkout. We do not store your full card details.
  • Prices: all prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) at checkout, together with any delivery costs.
  • Order confirmation: your order is confirmed once payment is received (or, for bank transfer, once funds clear). You will receive an email confirmation with your order reference (e.g. C3D-000123).
  • Custom work: request a quote via our quote form or by email. Prices depend on the complexity and material requirements of the project. Full payment is required before production commences unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Delivery and dispatch

  • Physical items are printed to order and most orders are dispatched within 2–5 working days. Larger or custom jobs receive a quoted timeline upfront.
  • Delivery costs and options are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Digital files are delivered instantly — your download links are issued as soon as payment is confirmed.

5. Digital downloads and licences

  • By purchasing a digital file you consent to immediate delivery of the download, and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day cancellation right once the download has been made available to you.
  • Unless a commercial licence is included or purchased, digital files are licensed for personal use only — you may print them for yourself but may not sell prints, share, or resell the files.
  • Selected designs include or offer a commercial licence allowing you to sell physical prints you make. The full terms are on our Commercial Licence page.
  • If a file is faulty — it won't open or doesn't match its description — contact us and we will put it right or refund you.

6. Returns, refunds and cancellations

  • Physical shop products: you may return them within 14 days of delivery in unused, original condition. Full details, including who pays return postage and how refunds are processed, are in our Returns Policy.
  • Faulty, damaged or incorrect items: we will replace, repair or refund, and we cover return postage. See the Returns Policy for how to report a problem.
  • Digital files: non-refundable once the download link has been issued, except where faulty (see section 5).
  • Custom and bespoke orders: produced to your brief and non-refundable once production has started, except where the finished item is faulty or does not match the agreed specification.

7. Custom and bespoke work

  • We print with a range of materials including PLA+ (eco-friendly and durable), PETG (strong and moisture-resistant), TPU (flexible and abrasion-resistant) and PVA (water-soluble support material). We will recommend the right material for your project.
  • For custom work we iterate the design with you and only print once you approve the final design.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any project that violates copyright, trademark, or other legal protections, or that we are otherwise unable to produce.

8. Intellectual property

  • Our designs: all products and digital files designed by us remain our intellectual property. Purchase of a file grants a licence to use it (see section 5), not ownership of the design.
  • Customer designs: designs you submit for custom work remain your intellectual property. By submitting a design, you confirm you have the right to use it and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
  • Marketing use: we may use images of completed projects for marketing purposes unless you ask us not to.

9. Liability and disclaimers

  • Quality: we strive to deliver high-quality prints, but the nature of 3D printing means slight imperfections — such as visible layer lines — may occur.
  • Limitation of liability: our liability is limited to the cost of the product or service provided. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our products.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10. Privacy and data protection

Our handling of personal data is detailed in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and take effect from the date of posting. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
