About the Design

The blade runs as a long tapered silhouette with a rough, organic spine carved down the centre — not a clean ridge, but a jagged textured channel that catches paint and weathering well. The edges are uneven and serrated, giving the sword a forged, broken-from-the-underworld look rather than a polished hero blade. The guard splits into mirrored demonic prongs — sharp curling horns that sweep outward and inward from a sculpted central panel, with a small relief detail where the blade meets the hilt. The grip is wrapped in a continuous spiral binding, and the pommel finishes with a domed orb seated in a sculpted cradle with a small tapered drop beneath it. Detail sits in the silhouette, the textured spine, and the sculpted hilt — perfect for paint effects, glow channels, and weathering.

The olive version shown in the listing images is the straight-off-the-printer result in a single-colour PLA — the black blade with the glowing red rune channel is a concept render showing what's achievable with paint, dry-brushing, and finishing techniques. The sword is a display and cosplay prop, not functional. Print orientation affects surface quality on the blade faces and guard prongs, so test at small scale first if you're new to large prop prints.
