Runeborn Blade — Elven Fantasy Sword Digital File for 3D Printing

The Runeborn Blade is an elven fantasy sword designed as a print-ready 3MF file for cosplay, display, and tabletop builds. The blade is etched with flowing runes down its centre, framed by a gold-trimmed edge, with a sculpted ornate guard set with a gemstone at the centre and a faceted diamond-shaped pommel. The grip is wrapped with a twisted binding pattern.

Designed by Creative 3D Prints and tested on FDM printers before release.

About the Design

The blade is sculpted with a tapered point and a wide central fuller carrying the rune etchings. The guard splits into matching scrolled wings either side of the grip, set with a diamond-shaped gem at the centre. The handle is detailed with a wrapped binding pattern, and the pommel finishes in a faceted diamond cap. Detail sits in the silhouette and the sculpted runes — the back of the blade is clean, ready to take whatever finish you want.

Print Details

The file is supplied as a 3MF format. The sword is scalable without losing detail, so you can size it to suit your printer bed and your build. Minimal supports needed under the guard, print cleanly with standard FDM settings on Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Anycubic, and similar machines.

Honest Notes

This is a digital file, not a physical item. Printed results will show layer lines on curved surfaces — these are part of FDM printing and sand or fill smooth before painting if you want a clean finish. The painted gold-and-black version with the red gem shown in the listing images is an example of what's achievable with customisation and finishing — straight off the printer, your sword will look like the unpainted grey version. The sword is a display and cosplay prop, not functional. Print orientation and support placement affect surface quality on the blade and guard, so test at small scale first if you're new to large prop prints.
