Prints in one piece Assembly

The Wave Crest Vase is a sculptural statement piece designed around flowing, twisted ridges that catch the light. Print it in a matt or satin filament and the waves read as sculpted form rather than layer lines — the geometry does the work.

Designed to print cleanly in vase mode (spiralise outer contour) for fast, single-wall results. Also prints solid if you want a watertight finish with an inner liner.

Why This Design

The curves are tuned for FDM printers — wide enough to print cleanly without fine detail dropping out, and the twist direction hides seams naturally. No supports needed. Flat, stable base.

What You Get

  • 3MF file — primary format
  • STL file or other formats available on request — just message after purchase

Recommended Print Settings

  • Vase mode (spiralise outer contour) for fastest, cleanest results
  • 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height works well
  • Matt or satin filament recommended — gloss finishes flatten the wave detail
  • No supports required
  • Use a glass or plastic liner if holding fresh flowers with water

Sizing

Designed at around 200mm tall, but scales cleanly up or down in your slicer. Scale to suit your shelf, table, or mantel.

Honest Notes

This is a decorative piece. Printed in vase mode it holds dried flowers or stems well — for fresh flowers with water, drop a glass or plastic liner inside.
