Wild Magic Sword — Elven Fantasy Sword Digital File for 3D Printing
The Wild Magic Sword is an elven fantasy blade designed as a print-ready 3MF file for cosplay, display, and tabletop builds. The blade has a curved, single-edged silhouette etched with swirling rune patterns down the fuller, set into a guard sculpted from twisted vines and roots that wrap around the grip and finish in a hooked, leaf-shaped pommel. Recessed gem sockets sit at the centre of the guard and along the pommel, ready to take paint, resin, or fitted gemstones for a glowing wild-magic finish.
About the Design
The blade tapers from a wide base to a curved, upswept point, with a central fuller carrying the swirling rune etchings down the length. The guard breaks away from the traditional cross shape — instead, twisted vines branch out either side of the grip in hooked, asymmetric wings, with sculpted gem sockets framed by the vinework. The grip is detailed with a woven, root-bound texture that flows into a hooked pommel set with another recessed gem socket. Detail sits in the silhouette, the rune work, and the sculpted vine guard — the back of the blade is clean, ready to take whatever finish you want.
Print Details
The file is supplied in 3MF format. The sword is scalable without losing detail, so you can size it to suit your printer bed and your build. Some supports needed under the guard wings and around the pommel hooks due to the overhanging vine detail. Prints cleanly with standard FDM settings on Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Anycubic, and similar machines.

Honest Notes
This is a digital file, not a physical item. Printed results will show layer lines on curved surfaces — these are part of FDM printing, so sand or fill smooth before painting if you want a clean finish. The vine guard has fine sculpted detail that benefits from a 0.4mm or smaller nozzle and slower print speeds around the overhangs. The sword is a display and cosplay prop, not functional. Print orientation affects surface quality on the curved blade — printing flat with the blade face up gives the cleanest top surface. Test at small scale first if you're new to large prop prints.
