Straight, consistent labels for smaller containers

The Label Helper Junior is a smaller version of our original Label Helper, designed to help makers apply labels more neatly and consistently to smaller containers. If you need a tool for larger jars, bottles or tins, you can check the original Label Helper.

It is ideal for small bottles, mini jars, roller bottles, serum bottles, essential oil bottles, sample jars, skincare containers and similar small cylindrical products.

Designed for containers with an approximate diameter of 25mm–50mm, the Junior version gives you a smaller working area than the original Label Helper, making it better suited to smaller products that can be fiddly to label by hand.

Why it helps

Labelling small bottles by eye can be slow and frustrating. Because the container is smaller, even a slight movement can make the label sit too high, too low, or at an angle.

The Label Helper Junior gives you a steady cradle and a clear guide point, making it easier to apply labels in a similar position each time.

How to use it

• Place your container in the cradle - Rest the bottle, roller or mini jar securely in the tool.
• Set the Base Slider - Adjust the Base Slider to suit your label length, then place the container so it sits securely.
• Line up your label - Position the label against the guide at your chosen placement.
• Apply the label - Press the first edge of the label onto the container.
• Smooth and rotate - Smooth the label on while gently rotating the container.
• Repeat across your batch - Keep the same setup for more consistent placement.

Label size guidance

Label suitability depends on the container diameter, label shape and label material.

As a general guide, labels with more contact against the guide are usually easier to apply. Very small or very narrow labels can be harder to apply cleanly, especially on smaller containers, because they may have less contact with the guide while being applied.

For wrap-around labels, the Base Slider helps support the label during application, making longer labels easier to position and apply on suitable bottles and jars. As always, check that the label length is appropriate for your container diameter before ordering.

Choosing your hand orientation

The Label Helper Junior is designed around your dominant hand — the hand you use to press and smooth the label onto the container.

• Right-handed version - The guide is positioned for applying the label with your right hand.
• Left-handed version - The guide is positioned for applying the label with your left hand.

Choose the version that matches the hand you normally use to apply and smooth the label.
