Label Helper Junior – Label Applicator Tool for Small Bottles, Mini Jars and Roller Bottles

The Label Helper Junior is the smaller version of our original Label Helper, designed to help makers achieve clean, level label placement across small bottles, mini jars and roller bottles.

After receiving many requests for a version designed for smaller bottles and jars, we created the Label Helper Junior.

Small containers can be fiddly to hold and label accurately by eye. The Junior’s compact cradle, adjustable placement guide and extendable Base Slider help you achieve cleaner, more consistent label placement with less measuring, repositioning and guesswork.

The Label Helper Junior works best with small, round or cylindrical bottles, jars and containers.

• Recommended container diameter: approximately 25–50mm
• How to measure: measure across the widest part of the container
• Longer labels: extend the Base Slider to support more of the label while applying it
• Container shape: designed primarily for straight-sided, round or cylindrical containers
• Full wraparound labels: the Label Helper Junior was not specifically designed for full wraparound labels. The Base Slider may help support longer labels, but please contact us before ordering if you are unsure whether your label will be suitable.
• Approximate tool size: 130 × 55 × 55mm when closed. The working width increases to approximately 90mm or more when the Base Slider is extended.

Need a custom size? If your container falls outside the standard size range, please get in touch. We may be able to adjust the tool to suit your needs.

The Label Helper Junior has been tested with a range of commonly used small bottles, jars and containers, including:

Container dimensions and shapes can vary between suppliers, even when the stated capacity or style is the same. Please measure the overall diameter of your container before ordering.

Suitable for

The Label Helper Junior can be used with many small, round or cylindrical containers, measuring between 25-50 mm in diameter, including:

For flat-sided containers, heavily tapered bottles, unusual shapes or anything outside the recommended size range, please contact us before ordering.

Using larger jars, bottles or tins?

The original Label Helper is designed for larger round or cylindrical containers measuring approximately 55–80mm in diameter.

How to use it

• Set the Base Slider - Extend the Base Slider as needed to support the length of your label, then lightly tighten the thumb screw.
• Position the container - Rest the bottle, jar or container securely in the cradle.
• Set the label placement - Adjust the guide to where you would like the label to sit, then lightly tighten the guide thumb screw.
• Apply and rotate - Line the label up against the guide, press the first edge onto the container and gently rotate the container while smoothing the label into place.

Keep the same guide setting across matching containers for consistent placement.

Right-handed or left-handed?

Choose the version that matches the hand you use to press and smooth the label onto the container.

• Right-handed: the guide is positioned on the left. Hold the container steady with your left hand and apply the label with your right.
• Left-handed: the guide is positioned on the right. Hold the container steady with your right hand and apply the label with your left.

Select the option that matches the hand you naturally use to apply the label.

Material and care

Each Label Helper Junior is made to order from PLA, a lightweight and rigid thermoplastic produced from renewable plant-based materials.

Wipe clean using a soft, slightly damp cloth. Keep the tool away from direct heat and hot surfaces. Do not leave it in areas exposed to high temperatures, as 3D-printed thermoplastics may soften or deform when hot.

Fine layer lines are a normal part of the 3D-printing process and do not affect the function of the tool.

Colours may vary slightly due to lighting, screen settings and filament batches.
